My friend Dana informs me that blogs are old hat and asked me if I were considering starting a Substack. I’d subscribed to a fair few of them, but was intimidated by the paid subscriptions. Still, I liked the idea of sliding into people’s inboxes – I started blogging because I am a letter writer, after all. So I’ve taken the leap, and started One More Cup. I haven’t got any paid content in there, it’s all free, and it’s a place for me to post stories that I have been wanting to write for a good long while. I’ll probably continue using this space for recipes that I find indispensable and other odds and ends (I really need to post a recipe for lahmacun, a.k.a. Turkish pizza), so please do watch this space.
